<li>Helpful hints and analysis: At any time during play, players can access hints and auction analysis to enhance their decision-making process. This support function, known as "Ask the Shark Bridge," is designed to aid players in improving their game.</li>
<li>Recommended play strategies: When declarer is on the lead to a trick, the Shark Bridge provides suggestions for a play strategy, ensuring that players make informed decisions.</li>
<li>PBN and LIN file support: Shark Bridge allows players to open PBN (Portable Bridge Notation) and LIN (VU-Graph) files from their email. This makes it easy to share and analyze hands with others.</li>
<li>Card deck options: Players can choose between regular and 4-color card decks, enhancing their visual experience while playing.</li>

In addition to its free features, Shark Bridge also offers two premium options for users looking to unlock additional benefits:

Bridge Enthusiast In-App purchase ($19.99): This upgrade offers an array of exciting features, including playing an unlimited number of random deals, access to 9 WBF, ACBL, and European bridge tournaments from 2014, 2013, and 2011, the ability to save deals to a Personal Deal Library, and email bridge hands from the library. Users also gain Basic Online Bridge Play features, such as creating, joining, and kibitzing at any table, as well as access to deal analysis. Furthermore, this upgrade includes a one-year free VIP subscription.

VIP subscription ($24.99/year): By subscribing to the VIP membership, players can enjoy exclusive benefits. This includes access to a daily tournament consisting of 16 boards, allowing users to compare their skills with other VIP members and study deals from past competitions. The subscription also provides access to 32 WBF, ACBL, and European bridge tournaments from recent years, including 2016. Furthermore, users gain VIP online play features like managing friends, blocking players, and inviting players. The VIP subscription also includes advanced features such as the Par Contract Calculator, a Personal Deal Library that instantly syncs saved deals across all devices, and an Advanced Deal Generator. VIP subscribers receive the highest priority for feature requests.

Shark Bridge's bidding systems cater to players' preferences by offering a wide range of options. These include Standard American 5 card major (SAYC or Shark flavor), 2/1 Game Force, Acol, and Swedish 5-Card major bidding systems - with more in development.

Each of these bidding systems includes popular conventions that players can further customize. Whether it's the NT range and hand distribution options for 1NT/2NT bids or specific conventions like Stayman, Jacoby and Texas Transfers, Weak two bids in Spades, Hearts, and Diamonds, Strong 2 Clubs, various versions of Blackwood (4 Aces, 5 Aces, RKC or RKC 1430), Jacoby 2NT, Sandwich 2NT, Two-way new minor forcing (XY-NT), Leaping Michaels, Michaels Cue Bid, Maximum Overcall Double, Negative Doubles, Takeout Doubles, Responsive Doubles, Splinter Bids, Lebensohl, Unusual 2NT, Landy, or Multi Landi - Shark Bridge has it covered.

Shark Bridge's impressive track record adds to its credibility. In 2009 and 2010, Shark won the individual event at the World Computer Bridge Championships. In 2014, it defeated esteemed competitors such as B Baron 25, MicroBridge, WBridge5, and Robo Bridge. Furthermore, in 2011, Shark emerged victorious against B Baron 22, MicroBridge, WBridge5, QPlus Bridge, and Robo Bridge. Developed by John Norris, an international bridge master and Danish Bridge Champion, the Shark play bridge engine is renowned for its human-like playing style. It has been tested against professional players and has consistently proven to be a worthy opponent.
